For those of you that don't know, my dad is my #1 Spark buyer. He's been antiquing for over thirty years and has been teaching me everything I need to know about the vintage industry. He's a pro when it comes to identifying the decade that each piece is from!

Sweet & Spark is headquartered in San Francisco but I'm originally from a small town in Western New York where my dad still lives during the Summer months. However, he’s the true definition of a snowbird, migrating to the Florida warmth as soon as the weather turns hasty. Needless to say, we're both on the move A LOT. Most of the antique fairs and markets listed above are held outdoors so we're always chasing the weather.

This is our secret to getting the best vintage jewels. Since he commutes between the North and South, he’s able to dominate East coast estate sales and yard sales on the daily, where the best pieces roll in. I handle the West Coast and hit up the California markets whenever I can. Then every month or so we get together and hit up a big antique fair somewhere in the U.S. to fill into whatever trends we’re feeling, which lately have been choker necklacesstatement drop earrings.

We see thousands of pieces of jewelry and only the top 1% makes it into our collection. We make sure that everything is in amazing condition and in it's original design.

Follow along on our Sparkhuntin’ adventures on Instagram @sweetnspark where we sell some of our fav finds! This week we'll be in Western and Upstate New York.
