Fall welcomes a spirit of change, making it the most exciting season when it comes to fashion. While two of the top four jewelry trends (statement earrings and choker necklaces) have been around for the past two seasons, the way we're envisioning them feels fresh.
1. The Choker Necklace
The choker necklace is by far the biggest street style jewelry trend happening for Fall but, we have you covered with a more approachable range of options than the suede choker dominating instagram. From feminine florals to iconic bold gold vintage styles, I think this trend feels effortless back to any open neck silhouette. The choker isn't going away either. We'll be styling them back to the glamour of Holiday soon enough!
2. Statement Earrings
The jewelry trend of the year is still going strong! Statement earrings are by far one of the best things about vintage because the popular clip-on style can support the weight of oversized styles. In my opinion, they're more special than the styles we're seeing at Kate Spade and J.Crew. While colorful and detailed drop styles are still popular this season, the update feels fresh in clean gold and silver metals. You've noticed hoops are back, right? And if you're still scared to try clip-ons, make sure you learn about the truth behind clip-on earrings.
3. Brooch It
With access to more inspiration from fashion influencers, we're becoming more playful than ever with our personal styles. Vintage brooches are favored by some of our favorite influencers such as, Julia Engel (remember the styling tutorial we did with her last season?), Blair Eadie and Olivia Palermo. The most effortless way to celebrate your style is with an everyday or statement brooch. This season, I love the creativity that comes along with building a cohesive collection of 2 or 3 to wear together. Stay tuned, I promise to put together a tutorial on how to do that later this season! In the meantime, I'm always referencing our How To Wear A Brooch board on Pinterest for new ways to style this timeless jewelry piece.
4. Ring Stacking
Consider ring stacking the new "arm party"! Check out our favorite ways to stack in the tutorial we put together. The easiest way to jump on this trend is by pairing two rings, side by side (on different fingers) that have the same aesthetic. Look for similar shapes and colors. Oh and don't forget, one of the best things about vintage rings is that most are adjustable!
